Today here at Vintage Vault we’ve asked John to answer to a few questions regarding his story, passion and future expectations.
(Vintage Vault) Good morning John and thanks for being here today with us! So let’s start with the (only apparently) easiest question….What does “Vintage” mean to you?
Thanks for having me! I like to use the term “vintage collectible” more than simply “vintage” to describe the guitars that I’m really passionate about. To me, adding the word “collectible” helps narrow down the field and describe exactly what excites me. Vintage collectible guitars are the benchmark on which most of the great guitars today are based. The solid and semi-hollow electric guitars made in the USA during the 1950s and 1960s are the narrow niche that drives most of my passion. That’s the majority of what you’ll find available at Truevintageguitar.com.
