Peter Siegel, owner and founder of Asbury Park Vintage Guitars, not only is a discerning collector who owns some of the finest guitars and amplifiers ever made, but his background as a professional musician helps him in selecting guitars that have to be great players too.
Today here at Vintage Vault we’ve asked Peter to answer to a few questions regarding his story, passion and future expectations.
(Vintage Vault) Good morning Peter and thanks for being here today with us! So let’s start with the (only apparently) easiest question….What does “Vintage” mean for you?
Vintage means solidly 1950’s, 1960’s and early 1970’s. I give a slight bit of honorable mention for certain mid-late 1970’s guitars, and certainly honorable mention for the late 1940’s lap steels, tele prototypes, and amps.
